Wild Oats Bakery Cafe & Deli COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Hi everyone. We want you to be confident that Wild Oats Bakery Cafe & Deli is taking the steps set out by New Zealand's Government to ensure our food and service is compliant with operating during COVID-19 Alert Level 2.

Due to COVID-19 health measures, we must all comply with the Social Distancing rule of 2m apart. Our staff have been instructed to stay home if they are unwell, and ensure their hands are clean.

We ask that our customers follow these guidelines, too.

Please use the hand sanitiser provided at our pick up station, for our safety and yours. If you are entering the Cafe, please continue to observe the 2m Rule. Look for the markers on the floor, they are there to help. 

We have added rigorous precautionary measures to our existing processes to protect our people and their families, our customers and suppliers, and the communities in which we operate.
These align with the latest guidance from the World Health Organisation and include:

  • No travel 
  • Quarantine protocols in place for employees who may have had exposure
  • A health, safety and travel questionnaire. 
  • Repeated, clear advice on hygiene and social distancing for our people
  • Increased use of personal hygiene products at our workplace (e.g., disinfectant hand gels)
  • Frequent disinfecting of our premises, with attention to high traffic areas, shared spaces, door handles, and other interaction points
  • Updating and testing our business continuity plans to ensure continued supply of products to customers
